The one thing that sets the DOE and Charlie Page apart from the competition are his consulting calls. You can call Charlie once a week and talk about anything on your mind. I found this particularly useful. It was in these calls that was tailored an action plan to achieve my goals taking into account my personal situation. The level of individual attention Charlie gives each of his members is nothing like I've ever experienced before with any other product or service.
Imagine if any time you had a problem with Microsoft Office you could call Bill Gates to troubleshoot it for you!
That's exactly what Charlie is agreeing to do for you. If something goes wrong with your online business he will take the time to help you troubleshoot it personally. Unlike Microsoft Office which is just an application that creates output Charlie is helping you develop a set which will eventually put money in your pocket!

What I Think Was Left Out Of the Directory of Ezines
There are two areas where I think the directory the ezines has gaps. The first is there is no content on Google adwords. Any site that teaches Internet marketing should at least have an overview of the Google AdWords program and what it is.
Also there is no information on how to write your webpage in the search engines. On one level this is understandable. Using Charlie's article marketing and e-zine advertising methods to promote affiliate products you don't necessarily need to rank in Google at all.
However in the DOE is about so much more than just and e-zine advertising and I think it would be a nice addition to the Learning Center to include some information on what it takes to rank in the search engines these days.
I'm coming up with a solution to fill that gap. More on that soon
How Quickly Can the Directory of Ezines Help Someone
That depends on how much money you have to spend. If you have a couple hundred dollars to spend after you buy the membership and you use that money by ads in ezines, then the DOE can be helping you the same day you purchase your membership but even if you have no money to spend after buying their DOE membership I don't see any reason why you can't make the money you spend back within 60 days investing only your time and energy in creating a sales funnel the people will buy through.
Negatives about the Directory of Ezines
The only negative thing about the DOE that I can think of is that Charlie can be a really hard guy to get a hold of. He honors all his consulting appointments. However more often than not he's booked at least two weeks out. When you try to get him by e-mail it can take quite a long time for him to respond. This can be frustrating if you're new when wanting to get some momentum going.
It's quite easy to forget sometimes that Charlie is just one guy. The reason it is taking so long to get to you is that he's taking the time necessary to help somebody else. His consulting comes on a first-come first-served basis as long as you have the patience to wait in return you will be getting the best advice available from someone who actually makes his living with Internet marketing, and not just someone who makes money selling other people the dream without actually living the reality.
Additional Skills or Tools Needed to Get the Most Out Of the Directory of Ezines
Anybody can use the DOE. No additional skills are needed. There's something for every level of Internet marketer in this resource.
